CCU gospel choir set for afternoon of inspirational music

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, Coastal Carolina University's student gospel choir, will perform at 4:30 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 13, in Wheelwright Auditorium. The event is free, but tickets are required.

The program will include: "After This" by Youthful Praise; "Because of the Blood" by Ricky Dillard & New G; "He Took My Place" by Kevin Terry & Predestined; "You Reign" by Vashawn Mitchell; "God's Will Is What I Want" by Ricky Dillard & New G; "Still Have Joy" by Tye Tribbett & G.A.; "Hold On" by Kevin Terry & Predestined; "Never Shall Forget" by James Hall; and "It Will Be Alright" by Trey McLaughlin & SOZ.

Coastal's Best winner and local recording artist Kimberly Lee will join the choir. Selections from the choir's praise and worship team, Unrestricted Praise, are also scheduled.

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors seek to perpetuate the tradition of gospel music and to recognize the importance of gospel in the preservation of African-American culture by performing positive and inspiring gospel music.

Tickets may be picked up at the Wheelwright Box Office from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday or prior to the performance. The auditorium is located at 108 Spadoni Park Circle, Conway.
