He is the founder and artistic director for Native Pride Arts, and his repertoire includes performances at the Olympics, the Kennedy Center and the Smithsonian Institute.
Formed in 2003 and directed by Yazzie, the Native Pride Dancers have performed for audiences of all ages throughout the world, displaying the traditions of American Indian music and dance. The show offers a variety of performance types, from solo to large ensemble productions. The current show, "Native Pride Dancer," balances entertainment with education and features the high-energy Fancy Dance.
