The Long Bay Symphony Chamber Orchestra comes to Coastal Carolina University for an evening of classical Christmas music on Sunday, Dec. 8, at 4 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. General admission tickets are $20. Student tickets are $10.

The symphony will be joined by regional singers and dancers who will assist in performing a selection of operatic, choral, ballet and orchestral music of the holiday season.

The program is made up of excerpts from Handel's "Messiah," Humperdinck's "Hansel and Gretel and Tchaikovsky's "The Nutcracker, " and complete performances of Holst's "Christmas Day" and Adam's Cantique de Noel ("O Holy Night").
