Registration is open for CCU’s lifelong learners
Registration is now open for more than 350 noncredit classes and workshops offered for seasoned learners between Jan. 13 and May 30, as well as a variety of special interest clubs and travel opportunities. Topics include computer technology, art and photography, foreign languages, history and government, literature and writing, music, theater and film, personal growth and skill development, philosophy and religion, science and nature.
Participation requires OLLI membership, which is $20 for the winter/spring semester and includes discounts and special programs at area museums (Brookgreen Gardens, Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum, Georgetown County Museum, Hobcaw Barony), musical and theatrical companies (Long Bay Symphony, Atlantic Stage, Theatre of the Republic and Murrells Inlet Community Theatre), and health and wellness centers (YMCA, Fitness Edge, HealthPoint and Furever Young).
Free Week will be held from Jan. 7-9, allowing interested parties a chance to sample the semester's offerings from each outreach center.
