Explore the courses and clubs planned for the winter/spring term of the Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) at Coastal Carolina University during Free Week from Tuesday, Jan. 7, through Thursday, Jan. 9, at three locations.

OLLI is CCU's premier noncredit program for adult education opportunities. A day filled with presentations and demonstrations will be held at each of the outreach centers from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.: Tuesday, Jan. 7, at the Myrtle Beach Education Center (900 79th Ave. N.); Wednesday, Jan. 8, at the Litchfield Beach & Golf Resort (14276 Ocean Highway); and Thursday, Jan. 9, in Conway at the Coastal Science Center (301 Allied Drive).

During Free Week, students can sample more than 350 noncredit classes, workshops, special interest clubs and travel opportunities offered from Jan. 13 to May 30. Topics include computer technology, art and photography, foreign languages, history and government, literature and writing, music, theater and film, personal growth and skill development, philosophy and religion, science and nature. The OLLI membership fee ($20) also includes discounts and special programs at area museums (Brookgreen Gardens, Franklin G. Burroughs-Simeon B. Chapin Art Museum, Georgetown County Museum, Hobcaw Barony), musical and theatrical companies (Long Bay Symphony, Atlantic Stage, Theatre of the Republic and Murrells Inlet Community Theatre), and health and wellness centers (YMCA, Fitness Edge, HealthPoint and Furever Young).
