Coastal Carolina University will resume normal operations Thursday, Feb. 13. All faculty and staff will report to work, and students will report to classes at normal times.

Liberal leave will be authorized for faculty and staff who are concerned about safe travel. Students who are concerned about safe travel will be required to make up classes. More information will be provided at a later date.

The following student services will be available tonight:

Hicks Dining Hall will be open until 8 p.m. Wednesday. University Place Café will be open until 9 p.m. Wednesday. Starbucks at Kimbel Library will remain closed. All other food service venues will be closed.

HTC Center/Campus Recreation will be open until 6 p.m. tonight. The Williams-Brice building will be open until 6 p.m. The pool will be closed. Intramural games are canceled tonight.

Kimbel Library will remain closed.

The Post Office will be closed.

Shuttle operations will run until 7 p.m. between the main campus and University Place.

Due to the winter storm, Coastal Carolina University will remain closed today, Wednesday, Feb. 12. All afternoon and evening classes and all events at all CCU locations will be canceled.

Sleet, freezing rain and ice are expected to continue in the campus area today. Please use caution as sidewalks will be slippery, and roadways will be dangerous.

Students will be required to make up classes. More information will be provided at a later date.

Due to the winter storm, Coastal Carolina University will close the campus at 6 p.m. tonight, Tuesday, Feb. 11.

The University will reopen at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 12. All classes at all CCU locations will resume at that time.

The University will provide an updated announcement tomorrow morning about the status of campus operations for Wednesday afternoon.

The governor has declared a state of emergency due to conditions in some areas of South Carolina.
