CCU’s Philosopher’s Corner to delve into marriage

"The Moral Problem with Monogamy Promises" is the topic for the Philosopher's Corner discussion on Thursday, Nov. 6, at 3:30 p.m. in Edwards Recital Hall. The public is invited to this free event.

Hallie Liberto, assistant professor at the University of Connecticut, will present her views on promise-making and monogamy. She works in moral, political and social philosophy and has written extensively about issues of rights and exploitation in the context of market transactions. Liberto earned a Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin.

The Philosopher's Corner series offers philosophers from all over the United States the opportunity to present recent philosophical work.

The Edwards Recital Hall is in Room 152 in the Thomas W. and Robin W. Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts at 133 Chanticleer Drive W., Conway.
