Annual Fall Gospel Concert will be held Oct. 11

October 7, 2015

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, the Coastal Carolina University student gospel choir, will perform the Fall Gospel Concert on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 4:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. Admission is free and open to the public, but tickets are required.

The Coastal Inspirational Ambassadors, directed by David Manigo, will perform positive and inspiring gospel music. The group hopes to perpetuate the tradition of gospel music and recognize the importance of gospel in the preservation of African American Culture.

Selections on the program include "Worth," by Anthony Brown and Group Therapy; "Excellent" by Mike Brown and F.O.C.U.S.; and "How Much We Can Bear" by Hezekiah Walker. The choir will also perform a special tribute of songs in dedication to the nine victims of the Charleston shooting.

The concert is sponsored by CCU's Office of Multicultural Student Services.

Tickets may be picked up at the Wheelwright Box Office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday or prior to the performance. For ticket information, contact the Wheelwright Box Office at 843-349-ARTS (2787). Wheelwright Auditorium is located at 108 Spadoni Park Circle on the Conway campus.
