"Twenty-five Home-Based Businesses to Start for under $1,000" is the topic of a seminar sponsored by Coastal Carolina University's School of Continuing Studies on Wednesday, April 17 from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in University Hall 225. Fee for the seminar is $45.

Steve Veltkamp, a marketing and small business consultant, will lead the seminar. He is president of the Olympic Home-Based Business Association and a nationally published business writer.

Veltkamp will explore at least 25 profitable home-based businesses which can be started with less than $1,000. For each business, he'll discuss start-up requirements and finding market niches.
