The annual Coastal Carolina Kids Camps are accepting registrations for children, ages 6 to 10 years, to attend the creative camp activities available this summer at Coastal Carolina University's Myrtle Beach Education Center.

The camps run weekly, beginning June 6 and ending Aug. 12, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 1 to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a handful of all-day camps offered as well.

Teachers will be Horry and Georgetown County certified teachers, as well as professional people in the area.

The program operates half-day and full-day weekly sessions in June, July and through mid-August, excluding the week of June 27 to July 1 and July 4 to 8. Half-day camps are $75; full-day camps are $150 per week.

The Myrtle Beach Education Center is located at 900 79th Ave. N. at the corner of U.S. 17 Bypass and 79th Avenue North.
