Ritter film on Iraq to be shown at Coastal Carolina University

November 4, 2002

"In Shifting Sands," Scott Ritter's controversial 2002 film about his work as chief of the United Nations weapons inspection team in Iraq, will be screened Wednesday, Nov. 13 at 7 p.m. and on Thursday, Nov. 14 at 4 p.m. in the Recital Hall in the Edwards College of Humanities and Fine Arts on the campus of Coastal Carolina University.

The event is free and open to the public. Faculty members of Coastal's Department of Politics and Geography will lead a question-and-answer session following both screenings.

Ritter, who spoke at Coastal last month, is sharply critical of the Bush Administration's current policy in the Middle East, particularly the prospect of a U.S.-led war against Iraq.
