Student vocal group from Nashville's Belmont University to perform at Coastal Carolina University

"Jazzmin," the 12-member student vocal group from Belmont University in Nashville, Tenn., will perform at Coastal Carolina University on Friday, February 28 at 8 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Considered one of the leading student vocal groups in the South, the Jazzmin ensemble performs a variety of jazz styles from early blues and swing to bebop, vocalese and contemporary sounds. Comprised of students in Belmont's distinguished vocal program, Jazzmin has performed in Chicago, Atlanta, New Orleans and St. Louis.

The group is led by Belmont music professor Sandra Dudley, an alumnus of the Eastman School of Music and an award-winning vocalist.
