CCU and AARP sponsor "Discovery Weekend" for retirees

Clarify plans for your anticipated retirement during a Discovery Weekend Oct. 10 to 12 at Springmaid Beach Resort and Conference Center, sponsored by Coastal Carolina University and AARP South Carolina.

"Mansions of the Soul: A Discovery Weekend" will explore national trends and personal issues dealing with relationships and emotions; challenges and opportunities in retirement; financial planning and relocation; and wellness and self-improvement.

Kathy Levine, former QVC host and current popular host of the Home Shopping Network and a best selling author, will be a keynote speaker, along with Muriel O'Tuel, a motivational speaker and author of the book "Footprints on the Heart."
