Coastal Carolina University will host its annual Family Weekend Oct. 10 to 13, featuring tours of Waites Island, a performance by a popular hypnotist, two soccer games, a family golf tournament and, of course, Coastal football.

The weekend provides planned activities for families of students attending Coastal as well as Coastal alumni. Participants will have the opportunity to tour Coastal's campus and to meet faculty and university administrators in a relaxed setting.

Hypnotist Michael C. Anthony will perform at 8 p.m. Oct. 10 in Wheelwright Auditorium; the event is free and open to the general public.

New events for Family Weekend include a Senior brunch and a family pre-game barbeque. Registration for the weekend should be received by Friday, Oct. 3.
