Coastal Carolina University's Division of
Extended Learning and
Public Services has added three members to its Board of Visitors for
the 2000-2001 academic year.
The new members are: Teal Williamson Britton, coordinator of
communications, Horry County Schools; Steve Robertson, publisher, Horry
Independent; and Rachel Broadhurst, president, Century 21 Broadhurst,
Myrtle Beach.
The Division of Extended Learning and Public Services offers
outreach programs on computer applications, professional and career
development, personal enrichment, foreign languages as well as such
programs as the Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies degree,
distance learning, travel/study and the Lifelong Learning Society, an
academic enrichment program for adult learners.
Members of the board of visitors provide guidance to the division
as it develops programs which meet the increasing demand for
professional continuing education and community enrichment.
