Coastal Carolina University’s annual Gospel Sing Out is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 8 at 4:30 p.m. in Wheelwright Auditorium. The event is free and open to the public.

Choirs performing in the Gospel Sing Out are: Coastal Carolina University Gospel Choir, The Bateman Family, D’Vine, Michael Johnson and the Anointed Praise.

The event is part of Coastal’s annual African American Celebration, a series of events designed to highlight the art, history, music and theater of the African American culture. Other events will continue through the 2004 spring semester. The concert will also honor the choir’s 15-year anniversary.
