Science series at Coastal Carolina continues with lecture

Richard Hilderman, a professor in Clemson University’s Department of Genetics and Biochemistry, will give a public talk about aortic cells and the circulatory system. The free lecture is scheduled for Wednesday, April 7 at 5:30 p.m. in R. Cathcart Smith Science Center, room 106, at Coastal Carolina University.

A final science seminar will be held on Wednesday, April 21, featuring William Pennington, of Clemson’s Department of Chemistry. The topic will be announced later.

The science seminar series has been sponsored by Coastal’s Department of Biology and Department of Chemistry and Physics. The sessions are supported in part by a Network Seminar Award grant to Coastal from the S.C. Biomedical Research Infrastructure Network/S.C. EPSCoR programs.
