Saleemah Tilghman-Madyun, a junior in biology, has been named the 2003-2004 Student Employee of the Year at Coastal Carolina University.

Tilghman-Madyun is the student assistant at Coastal’s Office of Financial Aid. She was nominated for the award for her exemplary service by her supervisor, who cited her enthusiastic attitude and excellent work ethic.

A reception was held after the awards ceremony to honor the nominees for Student Employee of the Year. Other nominees were: Shrinivas Chabba, Salvatore DeGennaro, Dwayne Harris, Shawn Heilemann, Melissa Honaker, Matthew Parker Ridge and Pamela Whittington.

The campus reception was hosted by the Office of Career Services and Vice President of Student Affairs Lynn Willett.
