Coastal Carolina University's Division of Extended Learning and Public Services is offering three professional development courses designed specifically for women.

"Leadership for Women: Top Ten Secrets for Success" is designed to show participants how to move ahead and reach their desired goals. This course will include interactive discussion on Investor's Business Daily Top Ten Secrets to Success. Session I is scheduled for Sept. 27, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Burroughs and Chapin Center for Excellence at Myrtle Square Mall. Session II will be held Sept. 28, from 6 to 9 p.m. at Coastal's Society House. The fee for each session is $59.

"The Woman Manager" is a course designed to address practical information on topics such as power and authority, problem solving, as well as stress and time management. It will also assist participants in developing positive self-concepts, set specific goals and enhance self- awareness. The course is offered Oct. 5, from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Burroughs and Chapin Center for Excellence at Myrtle Square Mall. The course fee is $49.

"Always in Style" will show participants how to create a professional look. They will also discover how to make body line, wardrobe, color, hair and makeup work to enhance their appearance. The course will be held Oct. 12, from 6 to 9 p.m. in Wall Building 206 on Coastal's campus. The course fee is $49.
