Degree completion program helps students finish what they started

Coastal's online completion program in health administration is for students who currently work in the healthcare field and are looking to advance their employment. "The Health Administration completion program is for students who have previously earned an associate degree and a certification or license in a healthcare specialty area." says Kristi Forbus, current program coordinator. "The online modality," she continues, "allows people from anywhere to become a Coastal Carolina student while also working a full-time job, enabling them to finish their degree without the logistics of traveling to campus."

The program builds on the core foundations courses studied in their associate degrees, and adds a challenging curriculum that fuses science and business skills. "The combination of these courses" says Forbis, "provides our graduates with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in the healthcare workplace, not just at a technical level, but also in leadership, which prepares them for promotion into related management positions."
