New graduate program in online teaching

Coastal’s new Certificate in Online Teaching and Training graduate program provides opportunities for educators and trainers to develop advanced competencies in designing, developing, delivering and managing online learning and performance improvement for professionals in education, business, industry, government, military, healthcare or other careers where there are increased expectations to teach or train using blended and distance learning modalities.

Although teaching certification is not required for admission, South Carolina certified teachers may be eligible for certain benefits, including a significant tuition discount (up to 50 percent), as well as qualification for add-on licensure endorsements from the State Department of Education.
