To engage in activities related to journalism, public relations, advertising, and mass media; to extend invitations to the regional high schools with journalism programs to visit us; to visit these various high schools and give presentations about our Journalism Minor; to go on field trips related to our purpose; to hold fund-raisers for the purpose of establishing scholarships; to inspire students about the goals and methods of a journalism career; and to inform students about journalism as a technical skill, career and discipline. |
