Details:The purpose of Eta Sigma Gamma is to elevate the standards, ideals, competence and ethics of professionally trained men and women in, and for, the health educatioin discipline through teaching, research, and service.


Eta Sigma Gamma is more than an honorary, it is a tradition and a commitment to promotethe highest ideals of professionalism. In order to be eligible for membership, students be enrolled as a Health Promotion major or minor for at least one semester, have at least a 3.0 GPA, and demonstrate high professional standards.


Eta Sigma Gamma was established on the campus of Ball State University in 1967 and has grown to include over one-hundred chapters. Our chapter, Delta Zeta, was establishedon March 6, 2000.
