Details:Coastal's Chapter of UPE was founded on April 24, 1993. It's Purpose is to honor computer science students that have an overall GPA of 3.0 or higher as well as a GPA of 3.0 or higher in their computer science classes. In order to be elgible, a student must have at leastthe GPA listed above and he/she must have completed 64 semester hours of college work, of which 18 semester hours must be computer science courses. Faculty members must have been teaching in the computer science program at Coastal Carolina University for at least one-half academic year.
