Student Government Association (SGA)
Student Government Association
The Student Government Association (SGA) conveys student opinion to the
University administration, serves as a liaison between the administration
and the students, and shares with the faculty and administration the governance
of the university. SGA is composed of the executive officers (president,
vice president, secretary and treasurer) and senators representing student
organizations and classes.
SGA Mission Statement
We, the students of Coastal Carolina University, in order to conduct the
business of the student body in an efficient, orderly and open manner;
to set forth the powers and responsibilities of the student body; to
provide a framework for effective self government; to enable students
to become active citizens of this University, state, and country; and
to provide means by which the students may have a lasting positive impact
on the community of Coastal Carolina University; do ordain and establish
a constitution for the Student Government Association of Coastal Carolina
University.
