Coastal Carolina University will not tolerate sexual violence in any form, including rape, acquaintance rape, sexual assault, sexual battery, sexual coercion and sexual harassment. In compliance with the requirements of Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 (Title IX), 20 U.S.C. Sec. 1681, et seq., and subsequent regulations, this policy outlines the University’s responsibilities and processes pertaining to sexual violence.
