Protection from retaliation is every employee's right at Coastal Carolina University. Our new policy states, "No employee at any level of responsibility may retaliate against another employee for reporting improper workplace activity or serving as a witness during an investigation of improper workplace activity."
The policy covers reports about suspected waste, fraud, abuse, mismanagement, discrimination, harassment or any other illegal acts.
