Campus Recreation is excited to provide a FREE campus bike program, in order to offer an affordable and environmentally sustainable form of transportation to students. This program provides an alternative to driving and promote campus community. Campus Recreation has a fleet of approximately 30 cruiser and mountain bikes adorned with Coastal Cycles branding. All bikes come with a helmet and lock.
To rent a bike, follow these steps:
Check it out:
Visit the Campus Recreation Center's Front Desk and present your valid CCU ID Card AND another form of picture ID to check out a bicycle FREE of charge.
Take it out:
Travel across campus in style. Park and lock your bike at various campus bike racks. We strongly encourage bikes to remain on campus during the rental period.
Bring it back:
Return your bike to the Campus Recreation Center within rental time specified (day, weekend, week) so our staff is able to provide the necessary maintenance to keep the bike in the best possible condition.
Do it again:
If you would like, you may check-out a new bike upon return of your current bicycle (dependent on availability).
