Sports Management Track
COGNATE/MINOR REQUIREMENTS
Coursework in this 15-hour minimum requirement is intended to support career-related
areas of sport management. Sport Management Track students are required
to complete an approved interdisciplinary minor OR an approved cognate of
upper level courses (300-400 level). Only approved courses/minors
will be accepted toward the cognate/minor requirement. A grade of
C or above is required for each course to be applied toward the Sport Management
Track Cognate/Minor requirement.

An approved minor is STRONGLY ENCOURAGED. Those students not completing

Recreation Management Track students will complete three (3) courses from
the following course list to fulfill major requirements. A grade of
C or above is required for each course to be applied toward the Recreation
Management Elective requirement.
