The officer stopped the vehicle for the violation. While writing the driver a citation for the moving violation, the CCU DPS officer was joined by an HCPD K9 unit. The K9 hit on the trunk area of the subject vehicle. The vehicle was searched, revealing marijuana and paraphernalia in the vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The vehicle was towed from the scene. |
