The officer interviewed the driver and observed the odor of an alcoholic beverage. The officer requested the driver attempt SFSTS. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. The driver's breath sample confirmed they were over the legal limit. The driver was issued a citation and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The passenger in the vehicle was transported to their residence hall by another CCU DPS officer. |
