The officers met with University Housing staff already at the scene. The officers were able to observe signs of drug use before making contact with the occupant of the apartment. The subject was interviewed and was evasive with their answers. The subject admitted to possession of alcohol and consented to a search. During the search marijuana and paraphernalia were discovered. The subject was issued citations and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The contraband was seized, and the alcohol was destroyed. This incident is also being referred into the student conduct process for the University. |
