The officer met with University Housing staff at the scene. The officer and staff members were able to observe the odor of marijuana in the apartment. The officer interviewed the occupants of the apartment. All the occupants denied possessing any marijuana. The occupants consented to searches and no marijuana was discovered. During a consent search of the bedrooms marijuana was discovered. The resident of the bedroom was taken into custody and transported to the Horry County Detention Center. The contraband was seized. The non-residents were issued trespass notices and escorted from the property. |
