Time: | 0230 | Officer: | Dyson | Type: | DUI, possession of marijuana, open container, child endangerment, wanted person | Location: | 169 Hwy.544 | Description: | While at the Kangaroo on Hwy. 544 CCU DPS officers observed the subject vehicle enter the parking lot with a flat tire. The officers offered assistance. While speaking with the driver the officers observed clues of intoxication. The driver was interviewed and the officer requested that the driver attempt SFSTs. The driver was not able to successfully complete the SFSTs. The driver was taken into custody and transported to a breath testing facility. A search of the vehicle revealed marijuana and alcohol. The passenger was found to be a wanted person and was also taken into custody. There were two children in the vehicle also. The driver refused to submit a breath sample, was issued citations and was transported to the Horry County Detention Center. |
