The officer stopped to investigate. CPD was contacted as the collision occurred in their jurisdiction. One of the witnesses informed the officer that one of the subjects was observed leaving the vehicle and depositing something near a tree. When officers investigated they discovered contraband secreted near the tree. The contraband was transferred to CPD officers. CPD officers interviewed and arrested the two subjects. CPD is handling this incident. |
