Dual-Degree Engineering Program
CCU Engineering Physics
Although CCU does not currently confer bachelor degree in engineering, the Department of Chemistry and Applied Physics does offer a degree in Applied Physics with an Engineering Physics track. This major require a number of engineering-related courses offered in the Physics, Applied Math, and Compute Science (e.g., Statics, Fluid Mechanics, Electronics, Circuits, Introduction to Engineering, and Computing with MATLAB).
This major is a great alternative for those students who may want to pursue engineering at the graduate level. Also, since some of these courses may count toward the requirements of the engineering program at Clemson University, they can help shorten the dual-degree program completion time.
