Student Computing Services (SCS) is a branch of Information
Technology Services (ITS). SCS is dedicated
to providing students with assistance on technical issues and technology-related projects
to enhance their academic experience. SCS also ensures effective
use of students' technological resources while providing efficient
services and technical assistance to
students. The friendly and knowledgeable staff of SCS maintains the
general-access labs and micro-computer labs, assists with computer
accounts and academic projects, supports residence hall computer
operations, and advises with disk and file access problems. In
addition, SCS staff assists with the Convertible Notebook
Initiative (CNI), advising students on their computer purchases.
SCS is located on the second floor of the Prince Building, room 204.
All the general access labs have their hours of operation posted online and in every lab.
