To ensure that students enrolled in Copmuter Science acquire a computer that will meet their needs while attending Coastal Carolina,
the Department of Computer Science makes these minimal recommendations.

- Intel Core i3 (or better) class processor
- 4GB System Memory (8 GB would be better for virtualization)
- 500GB hard drive
- DVD+/-RW drive
- Integrated 10/100/1000 Ethernet adapter
- Integrated 802.11b/g wireless networking card
- Microsoft® Office 2010 (Get for $69!)
- Virus Protection Software (Get for FREE!)
