MS Outlook 2010 Sync

  1. Log-in to your email.
  2. Once you are logged in, click Settings (located in the top right corner of the screen).
  3. Select Forwarding and POP/IMAP.
  4. In the "IMAP Access" section, select Enable IMAP. Click Save Changes
  5. Open Microsoft Outlook 2010.
  6. Click File.
  7. Click Info.
  8. Select Add Account.
  9. Select Manually configure server settings or additional server types. Click Next.
  10. Select Internet E-mail. Click Next.
  11. On the "Internet E-mail Settings" screen, enter the following:
    • Your Name: Your first and last name.
    • E-mail Address: Your Coastal email address. Example:
    • Account Type: IMAP.
    • incoming mail server:
    • Outgoing mail server:
    • User Name:
    • Password: Your Coastal password.
  12. Click More Settings.
  13. Click the Advanced tab.
  14. Under the "Advanced" tab, enter the following:
    • Incoming Server Settings
    • Incoming server (IMAP): 993
    • Use the following type of encrypted connection: SSL

    • Outgoing Server Settings
    • Outgoing server (SMTP): 587
    • Use the following type of encrypted connection: TLS
  15. Click the Outgoing Server tab.
  16. Put a check mark in the box next to My Outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication.
  17. Click OK.
  18. On the next screen, click Next.
  19. Outlook will run a test to make sure that your settings are correct. Your screen should look like the one below:
  20. Click Close.
  21. On the next screen, click Finish.
  22. Outlook will start collecting emails from your Coastal account. The name of your account will appear on the left side of the screen.
