Routers in the Dorms

While Internet access is available in all residence dorms, please be aware that installing or using your own routers is against Coastal Carolina's computer usage policy. Any unauthorized routers that are found will have their MAC address disabled, which will cause the router to no longer distribute IP addresses. If the use of a router has caused network response to slow, then the ethernet port of the user will also be disabled.
