Configuring your computer to use the Wireless Network on campus

Configuration on a Windows XP system:
From the Start menu, click on Control Panel.
Double click on Network Connections.
If you have a wireless
card installed on your computer you should see an icon for a "Wireless
Network Connection" here. Double click on that icon.
A "Wireless
Network Connection Status" window should open. Click on the "properties"
button on this window.
A "Wireless Network
Connection Properties" window should open up. Click on the "Wireless
Networks" tab on this window. Then Click on "Add" to add a
new wireless network.
Clicking on "Add"
will open a new "Wireless Network Properties" window. In the text
field where you can add a new network name (SSID), type in "CCUnwired".
Click "ok"
to return to the previous window. Then click "Refresh" on this window
and hit "ok".
