Configuration on a Windows XP system:

  1. From the Start menu, click on Control Panel.
  2. Double click on Network Connections.
  3. If you have a wireless card installed on your computer you should see an icon for a "Wireless Network Connection" here. Double click on that icon.

  4. A "Wireless Network Connection Status" window should open. Click on the "properties" button on this window.

  5. A "Wireless Network Connection Properties" window should open up. Click on the "Wireless Networks" tab on this window. Then Click on "Add" to add a new wireless network.

  6. Clicking on "Add" will open a new "Wireless Network Properties" window. In the text field where you can add a new network name (SSID), type in "CCUnwired".

  7. Click "ok" to return to the previous window. Then click "Refresh" on this window and hit "ok".
  8. Now try to open a page in your internet browser. If you still cannot get online make sure that your internet browser is configured to connect to the network.
