Student Computing Services (SCS) is a branch of Information Technology Services (ITS) that provides students with technology assistance to enhance their academic experiences. SCS maintains the general-access labs and micro-computer labs, assists with computer accounts and academic projects, supports residence hall technology operations, and provides technical assistance to troubleshoot issues. In general, SCS provides assistance for all student technology needs, questions and concerns at Coastal Carolina University.
To make the transition to college a bit smoother, SCS provides technology guidance for new students and their families – to use prior to their arrival on campus and once they are here. Select link For New Students or For Parents/Families on left.
A technology reference guide for students contains the basics about campus computer labs, printing, safe computing, how to get help with technology challenges, and more. Select Reference Guide on the right.
Additional tools and resources are available to the right in Quick Links, on the left-hand navigation menu, and below.
The following chart represents many of the technology resources available for Coastal Carolina University students and their parents/families. Select the teal circle for additional information.
