	ALPHA KAPPA DELTA is the International Honor Society in Sociology. The Coastal Carolina University Chapter of AKD has been active since 1993. Membership in AKD is open to students who are Sociology Majors or Minors and who have maintained a grade-point average of 3.0 or higher.
