Accreditation

Programs in the College of Education are accredited nationally by the National Council for the Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE) and by the state through the South Carolina Board of Education.  The recently implemented Special Education Program in Learning Disabilities has received national recognition by the Council for Exceptional Children.  Teacher certification through our program is accepted in most states across the country.
