Beginning in the Fall 2013 semester, participation in the CCU Symphonic Band will satisfy a core requirement for non-music majors. Enrolling in MUS 124A fulfills the creative expression requirement in the Core Curriculum if taken for 3 semesters. No audition required for enrollment so get on board in Fall '13!!

Coastal Carolina University Bands would like to officially welcome Keith Moore, Dan Calandrelli, and Joseph Beattie as new drum majors for the 2013 edition of the Spirit of the Chanticleer Marching Band. Please stay tuned in the coming week for “Insider Spot Light” segments on each of these three gentlemen as we get to know them a little better. We would like to thank all those who auditioned and participated in the audition process today. GOOOOO CHANTS!!

Beginning with the Spring 2013 semester, the CCU Office of Financial Aid has mandated that students who receive any financial assistance in the form of stipends, Chanticleer Band Program Awards or other band-related awards MUST be full time CCU students and enrolled in the appropriate course. This mandate is for ALL CCU ensembles for both Fall and Spring semesters. Students are still welcome to participate in the CCU Bands without enrolling in the course, but will not be eligible for any band financial assistance.
