On Monday, 2/1/10, we welcome Judy Dow as the new Administrative Specialist in the CCU Band Office. Judy has been working in the CCU Welcome Center since 2008, and you can read about her below: Judy Dow, CCU Bands Administrative Specialist, holds the BM in Theory & Composition and the MM in Harp Performance from Bowling Green State University (OH). Additionally she holds a Certificate of Graphic Design from Atlantic Community College (NJ) and an Advanced Technical Certificate in Database Management from Hennepin Technical College (MN). Judy has significant performance experiences, both as a solo and orchestral harpist and in live theatre, in New Jersey, Ohio, Minneapolis, and throughout the Carolinas. She has held clerical and recruiting positions in businesses and non-profits, and has managed Music by Judy Dow, a professional music service, since 1981. She is an active member of the American Harp Association where she has held regional and national offices. Her son is currently a graduate assistant with the Northwestern University Bands (IL) and her daughter is a photography major and member of the synchronized swim team at the University of Florida.
