PERFORMANCE CONFLICTS

Students who join the Band are expected to attend all performances . Please review our Season Schedule before filling this section out and discuss this with your family. If you have a serious, unavoidable conflict with one of the scheduled performances, such as a religious holiday or family wedding, please write the DATE and the REASON for the conflict below. All requests, including those listed below, must be presented in writing and in person to the Director no later than the first day. Students who plan to miss a performance may be assigned an alternate position to ensure that we have a full band at every performance. Work schedules, family gatherings, and other activities must be scheduled to avoid conflicts with the Band performance schedule.

EQUIPMENT INFORMATION

The University will provide all PICCOLOS, SOUSAPHONES, BARITONES, MELLOPHONES, and PERCUSSION instruments. There are some additional University instruments available for band members to borrow, but they are extremely limited. You will be responsible for the general maintenance of any instrument which you sign-out. Please fill out this section if you are requesting a University instrument.

Please be sure to bring necessary accessories (reeds, valve oil, lyres, etc.) to Band Camp. The Band does not supply these items.
