Faculty Led Short-Term Study Abroad Programs
CCU’s Faculty Led Short-Term Study Abroad Programs offer eligible students the option to participate in a credit-earning academic experience that involves an overseas travel component and is led by CCU faculty. Depending on the program, students are generally abroad from one to 3 weeks. Many of the programs are oriented towards specific majors, though some courses will fulfill Core Curriculum requirements.
Through these types of programs, students gain first-hand experience conducting field research with the ocean as the classroom; gaining proficiency in a language in its host country; and understanding business structure and practices in some of the largest economies outside of the United States.
***The application cycle for 2016-17 Short-Term Study Abroad Program is now closed for most programs. If you are interested in participating the Coastal in Tuscany, Japanese Religion & Art, or the Culture & Education Maymester programs, please reach out to Darcy Coughlan at firstname.lastname@example.org to see if the programs are accepting applicants.***
