Several CCU Students to put on Week-long Earth Week Celebration

CCU students from SEA (Students for Environmental Action), Eco-Reps, the Biology club, and SUW (Society of the Underwater World) will be hosting a week of environmental education to celebrate Earth Day, April 22nd.  The events will begin on Wednesday, April 16th, and end with a keynote speech from Neil Chambers on Tuesday April 22nd.  Other events include t-shirt tye-dyeing, education workshops, film and TV series viewings and much more.  Be on the lookout for the Earth Week event website for a schedule of events

Myrtle Beach USGBC chapter meeting

There will be a USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council) meeting Thursday, April 26th, at the Myrtle Beach Area Convention & Visitors Bureau to discuss opening up a Myrtle Beach Chapter of the USGBC.  Enter in the back of the building.  Click here for Directions

Neil Chambers to Speak in EHFA 246

Green architect Neil Chambers will be presenting in EHFA 246 at 6:00 pm Wednesday April 25th.  "The Art of Green Design" will be a discussion of personal experiences and visions of the future for the Nation and for Myrtle Beach alike.

Solar Power Dedication
