What is Coastal Carolina University’s Campus Salvage Sale?
Campus Salvage is Coastal Carolina University's residence hall move-out program and part of our commitment to sustainability.
When is the sale?
The sale is Saturday, May 17, 2014 from 8am-10am at the PODS company parking lot, 370 Allied Drive, Conway, SC.
What should I expect when I arrive?
Due to the popularity of the sale, there will be an entry line into the sale area. Customers will be able to enter the sale area a few at a time. All items will be located inside the PODS for customers to browse and purchase. Only single items are available for sale. Entire PODS units are not eligible for sale. All items purchased must be carried by the customer to the designated check-out area.
What will be for sale?
Furniture, lamps, home decor, kitchenware, shelving, storage containers, fans, microwaves, TVs, rugs, sporting equipment, shoes, handbags, household items, and more!
What are the prices, and will prices decrease during the day?
Most items are $2 each, except for the following: books $1 each; plates 2 for $1; cups 4 for $1; mugs 2 for $1; microwaves, DVD players, iHomes & TVs are $7 each; mini fridges are $25; and furniture items and other select items are priced as determined. Pricing remains constant throughout the day, there are no mark-downs, bulk pricing or haggling. All proceeds go to support the CCU Green Fund.
What methods of payment are accepted?
Cash. We do not accept checks, money orders or credit/debit cards.
