Gwendolyn Schwinke has worked in professional theatre for over 20 years and is a member of Actor's Equity. She has performed with theatres including Red Eye Collaboration, Carlyle Brown & Company, Frank Theatre and The Playwrights' Center (Minneapolis), Old Creamery Theatre (Iowa), Oxford Shakespeare Festival (Mississippi), and Pulse Ensemble Theatre (New York City). Her work as a voice or dialect coach has been heard at Oxford Shakespeare, Frank Theatre, Cheap Theatre (Minneapolis) and in multiple university productions. Her work as a playwright has been produced or developed by nationally-renowned theatres including off-Broadway's Cherry Lane Theatre, Seattle Repertory Company, The Playwrights' Center and Red Eye Collaboration. Gwendolyn is a Designated Linklater Voice Teacher and a Guild-Certified Feldenkrais Teacher, the first person in North America to be certified in both approaches. She has taught voice, acting and/or movement at institutions including Shakespeare & Company, New York University's Tisch School of the Arts (CAP-21 Studio), University of Northern Iowa, State University of New York at Binghamton, and The Guthrie Theater.
